Our seven charity shops across Birmingham are supported by a team of Volunteer Shop Assistants, who sort and price donated goods, work on the till and help our customers. Joining our team is a great way to gain practical retail skills, whilst also supporting the Settlement to raise vital money for our work. The hours are flexible and can be determined by you

Volunteer Administrator
We have a range of vacancies for Volunteer Administrators across our organisation. These could be in any of our service areas, including Money Advice, Community Development, Family Support, Ageing Well, or one of our other areas. Our administrative roles vary quite widely and will depend a lot on the team in which you volunteer, however there would be some similarities in the duties. The hours are flexible and can be determined by you.

Volunteer Minibus Driver
We currently have an opportunity for a Volunteer Minibus Driver. In order to fill this role you will need to be between 25 and 75 years old with at least two years driving experience.
The aim of this position is to support our Children’s Services and Ageing Well programmes. As a result you will be required to transport older people, children and their parents on various outings across the country. The hours are flexible and can be determined by you.
Full training will be provided, and will take one day, plus one and a half hours of assessment to be completed at your convenience.
